The Historic Malabar Farm Restaurant serves Hoepler
In 1945 Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall married in a small ceremony at Malabar Farm. The Malabar Farm Restaurant is still an exquisite place. It lies in the heart of rural Ohio and offers a range of superb menus and the very best wines.
Nestled in the hills of Pleasant Valley, Malabar Farm was built in 1939 by the Pullitzer-Prize-winning author Louis Bromfield. It was here on May 21, 1945, that Bromfield hosted Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall's wedding and honeymoon.
Situated in the heart of rural Ohio, surrounded by agriculture and livestock, it was a natural evolution for Malabar Farm to develop a culinary expertise and menu offering based around seasonal produce.
We are deeply proud that our fine Austrian wines are served at this historic restaurant!
On March 5th Hoepler Wine held a dinner at Malabar Farm Restaurant.
Christof Hoepler was there in person to present some of his favourite Austrian wines from his vineyards in Burgenland:
- Pinot Blanc
- Gruener Veltliner
- Pinot Noir Rosenberg
- Gruener Veltliner Guttenberg
