Winemaker´s Comments:

This Austrian national grape variety is light green-yellow in color, with spicy hay and mineral-like aromas and flavors. The slight white pepper finish is a distinct characteristic of Gruner Veltliner. Particularly good when served with cold starters, pastas, delicate salads or as an aperitif.

Honors:
Gruener Veltliner 2006 was ranked among the top 10 on “The Dow Jones Gruner Veltliner Index” in the Wall Street Journal. Moreover the Wine Spectator awarded this wine with excellent 89 points!
Vintage 2008 is the best Gruener Veltliner from the Burgenland region and SILVER awarded at awc vienna 2009
